TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Public Act 33 of 1951, being MCL 41.801, et seq., the Township Board of Eagle Township, Clinton County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing at its meeting on September 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Hall, 14318 Michigan Street, Eagle, MI 48822. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the estimated costs and expenses of providing fire protection and ambulance service (“Emergency Services”) and to determine the amount to be assessed for Emergency Services. The estimated amount to be assessed for Emergency Services for the 2024-2025 fiscal year will not exceed four (4) mills, but the actual assessment will be determined by resolution of the Township Board following the public hearing.
