Property taxes for the current year may be paid online via electronic check (ACH) or credit/debit card OR via phone by credit/debit card by calling 517-522-7155 between July 1 and February 28.

Online Payment Portal

Property tax bills online may be searched by address or parcel number.  Payments by phone must provide the parcel number. 

A fee will be incurred for using either of these services.  The total amount due will include the payment fee and the total amount being paid before the payment is submitted.

• Payment by electronic check is a flat fee based on the amount $3, $6, or $12.
• Payment by credit or debit card is 2.8% of the total + 50 cents.

Example: For a $500 property tax,
             electronic check fee is $3.00 OR credit card fee is $14.50.

Note: Each property tax bill will need to be paid separately.

The following payment options for property taxes are also available at no additional cost:

• Mail a check payable to Eagle Township to the following address:

• Place a check payable to Eagle Township in the 24 hour drop box located at the Eagle Township Hall at 14318 Michigan St, Eagle
  
  
• Pay in person at the Eagle Township Hall on Monday, September 15, 2025, between 9 am and 5 pm.

If paying by mail or drop box include the bottom portion of your tax bill(s).

Zoning permit fees and escrow payments may be paid online via electronic check (ACH) or credit/debit card.  Escrow payments are only payable by providing the invoice number.  Both fees AND escrow must be paid before review will begin.  Contact the Township Clerk if you do not have the invoice numbers.

• Payment by credit or debit card is 2.95% of the total + 50 cents.

Example: For a $400 permit fee,
             electronic check fee is $3.00 OR credit card fee is $12.30.

Note:  The non-refundable zoning fees and escrow must be paid separately.
